Does anyone know how to keep your hair nice and thin?

Everytime i wash my hair. I blow dry, sometimes i would put anti-frizz, put my hair in sections and brush while i blow dry. It doesn't look that bad. But the next morning it's thin and kind of frizzy. I'm getting tired of it. Is there anything i can do different and or buy something for my hair.

Does anyone know how to keep your hair nice and thin?

Stop blow drying and use some creme product to add moisture- like sunsilk.

Does anyone know how to keep your hair nice and thin?

no x

Does anyone know how to keep your hair nice and thin?

STOP blow drying. thats what makes it looks frizzy the next day...its damaged.

Does anyone know how to keep your hair nice and thin?

try rebonding ur hair, (that is permanent straightening), its a little expensive but worth the money, u won't need to do anything else, jus wash and wear and it looks professionally styled each time.

u do need to go for touch up for the new growth, but that will be once in 7-8 months depending on ur hair growth.

Black Dog hair on Towels?

I have a black (longhaired) newfoundland that has quite an upkeep on his hair. As much as I am cleaning up after him, and brushing him, his hair gets all over my laundry, mostly my towels. After I was them and dry them, they are COVERED in dog hair still. My dryer will not take it off. I've read to use a lint roller and I already use fabric sheets, and they don't get all of it. Anyone else with this problem have any idea how I can get the hair out of my towels before it leaves my dryer?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, It's not fun to get out of the shower just to be covered in dog hair from the towels!

Thanks so much, and God Bless!

Black Dog hair on Towels?

I know the battle with dog hair well.

You might want to try spraying Static Guard on the towel first and then trying to remove the hair with a lint roller, vacuum, or whatever you like. I find this works on my couch...otherwise the static cling makes it stick to fabrics.

Good luck!

Black Dog hair on Towels?

Well you could use extra bleach in your washer. They say bleach takes hair and lint off when in the washer.

Black Dog hair on Towels?

My story is my German Shepard his hair is really pain, but I got a small electric 800watt power house vac. You need to make sure you got all those dog hairs off stuff before you bring out the towels. Don't the dog go into the bath room. The only thing I can think of to help you out is this:

1. wash the towels and dry them like normal

2. hang them out on a cloths line

3. take a leaf blower (yes one of those) and blow the hair off

Leaf blower that is powerful and get electric so your towels won't smell of gas either. If you want it off this is the only way. You're tried a lot of things I would have. But this would take less than 15 mins to do..

Does anyone know anything good for hair?

everytime i brush my hair alot seems to fall out and its quite split and damaged, does anyone know any good products for this?please help?

Does anyone know anything good for hair?

one simple thing is to comb your hair when its wet instead of brush it won't damage your hair as bad

Does anyone know anything good for hair?

i have dry damaged coloured hair and have found that aussie treatments work wonders and they're not even that expensive. You can purchase them from any boots/supersrug store. Try them

Does anyone know anything good for hair?

AUSSIE MIRACLE CONDITIONER WORKS 4 ME HUN ! 閳?br>Does anyone know anything good for hair?

You should get a trim. Once a hair is split, there's no repairing it; the split will travel up the strand so it is best to get your ends trimmed once in a while.

Does anyone know anything good for hair?

First of all you need to trim off all of the splits they will not go away dont blow dry and flat iron excessively and get some smoothing cream like bed heads after party. Also get a moisturizing shampoo like the catwalk fasionista or moisture maniac also from TIGI.

Does anyone know anything good for hair?

Use Dhurupatradi oil

It is an ayurvedic preperation.

Does anyone know anything good for hair?

hair falls out everyday, but you need to use intensive conditioning treatments such as aussie hair care 3 min miracle every now and then on top of your normal wash and condition routine.

regular trims will help with split ends.

do not brush your hair when it is wet...comb it, starting at the underneath and at the ends and working your way upto the roots.

do not over process your hair with colours or heat (when styling).

make sure you use a heat protector when anything goes near your hair like a hair dryer, curling tongs, heated rollers or straightners.

drink plenty of water.

and i hate to say it...but the guy who suggested sperm? would actually work because of all the protein in it

Does anyone know anything good for hair?

OK i had the same problem%26gt; my hair is to me waist and this is what i did to stop it from falling out and breaking off. OK the number one this DO NOT BRUSH YOUR HAIR WHEN IT'S WET. That will cause your hair to break off easy, when you take a shower dry you hair with a towel the put your hair in a bun or leave it down after you hair dries then brush your hair with a comb it better, now if your hair is short your comb should have small space between the bars if you hair is long the comb should have wide space between the bars. OK after you hair dries get regular olive oil not extra virgin olive oil, just the regular kind then warm it up but not to hot, then put it in you hair, rub it good to your scalp. You want to do this in the morning so you can leave it in you hair for a least 4 hours or longer, the longer the better. After you put the olive oil in you hair wrap you hair in a bun and tie a scarf around you head and wait. When you wash it out it will take 2 wash with shampoo(i prefer Pantene Pro-V or SunSilk), then use only a little conditioner. OK do this 2 or 3 time a week and look how beautiful your hair will look within 2 weeks, you will not have dandruff, falling out, breaking and damage. It work with me, and good luck.

Vitamin E and gelatin...

Does anyone know anything good for hair?

Coconut oil is great for condition - apply it to your hair whilst dry, leave for as long as you want, then shampoo %26amp; condition as usual. Leaves your hair nice and shiny. (Plus you can use it as a skin moisturiser too!)

If you dye your hair, think about growing it out. My hairs been way healthier since I ditched the dye!

Make sure you get plenty of protein, calcium and iron %26amp; silica in your diet. Keep your kidneys healthy by drinking lots of water and avoiding salty foods. If your kidneys are strong, your hair will be strong.

Does anyone know anything good for hair?

Pantene is really good for making hair healthy. I use the smooth and sleek one and my hair has never been healthier! Its cheap but it works better than most of the expensive ones i use!

Major frizz of the hair?

Okay, so I few years ago I got a perm. It was curly, it was nice. Then the next year I got highlights, it was pretty pretty and my hair was still fine. The year after that I cut some hair, the last of the curly hair, and then BAM, my hair was super frizzy. It grew relatively straight, it's just that when my hair would come out, like on my brush or something the hair would be coarse, uneven, and in very tight little waves. Now I'm Asian, and this has NEVER happened to me, so I panicked, and got a straight perm. But now my hair's growing out frizzy and dead again and the last thing I want is more damage.

My hair used to be so straight and limp, how can I make it go back?!!?

Major frizz of the hair?

go to a stylest and have them fix it. say you think you damaged your hair and you just want itstraight again. thats the best you can do but id do it quick before to damage it more

Major frizz of the hair?

Sounds like evrytime u got ur hair done u didn't treat it properly! and to rid the frizz use Pantene Pro-V Frizz Control shampoo and conditioner.

Major frizz of the hair?

i have been a hair dresser for 15 years and the old saying is you antwhat you don't have. well in this case it is true you will need to use a product from redkin called extreem fule adn get beyond the zone "turn up the heat" it's in an orange bottle a flat iron with creamic blades use the beyond the zone in your hair before you iron and you will see the differnce you may have to do this for a while and your hair will be trained to do what you want again. as far as the splits go you need a trin evry 4 weeks to keep it healthy

How should I care for permed hair?

I'm wondering what I should do after showering...how should I brush my hair, and should I blow it dry?

How should I care for permed hair?

first...you really should wait like 2 days before washing it after a perm. Comb with a wide tooth comb, when wet. Use gel or mousse.."Curls Rock" is great (salon product) scrunch that in, and blow dry with a diffuser, or air dry. Don"t brush after its dry, or mess with it too much. You'll make it frizzy.

How should I care for permed hair?

I totally agree with Ball. Don't fuss with it too much it will make it frizzy. Use good products. Perm Fresh by Matrix is a good product. Try that. Curls Rock is also good. Do not use a brush for sure!!

Dry/ mat like hair?

hi guys, just regarding my hair which is actually quite curly, i use normal shampoo and conditioner to it and over time no idea how my hair has gotten very dry and the ends are lacking moisture and have a mat/dead look to them like they are anything but lively. Also i've been losing a lot of hair (when i brush) and now my hair has also begun to thin out quite a lot, is there anything you guys can suggest, I've been drinking apple cider vinegar i drank an entire glass today (took a lot of strength) but other than this i haven't tried anything else and i don't use any chemicals in my hair except for the shampoo, so never have dyed it and i probably straighten my hair every 3-4 weeks or so, nothing serious..ok thanks, plz help guys! styling types for curly hair would be good too, thanks again =]

Dry/ mat like hair?

This is a natural process that hair goes through! Are you stressed? This could explain the thinning! Also do you blow dry every day? Because this can cause your ends to go frizzy and dry!

What i can suggest is buying a leave in nourishing conditioner and once your hair is wet, spray it on, dry 50% of your hair (so your ends and mid-lenths are still damp) and then leave it naturally, Get regular trims! If get gets too bad, you can get a deep penetraiting conditioning treatment from your hairdresser! This is a service ethat can last about 30 mins-50 mins and its just a conditioninng treatment that penetraits into your hair and softens the cuticle(the outside of the hair) to give it a shine!

Also about the hair falling out, not to worry, my hair brush is covered with hair (i know ew! going to clean it out!) You lose about 150 hairs a day anyway as the hair goes trhough a growth cycle and one of the stages is where the hair falls out! But dont worry because a hair grows in its place :)

My hair has Reilly bad breakage it falls out every wear can it be from keeping it in a bun all the t

my hair is relly long every time i brush it my brush is full of hair im not even shure if it is breakage i use all kind of shampoos and its still the same i dont what to do but i do konw that is not falling out from my scalp cus at the end of my hair dosent have a white tip

My hair has Reilly bad breakage it falls out every wear can it be from keeping it in a bun all the time?

Keeping the hair in the bun can be part of the problem but not the main one. You should visit a salon and get a hair treatment. There are different types of treatments depending on the scale of the problem. It should do the trick.

My hair has Reilly bad breakage it falls out every wear can it be from keeping it in a bun all the time?

Dont worry too much - everyones hair brush should be full of hair as we loose loads and loads (hundreds) of hairs everyday espeically when brushing. If your hair is long it will look like more hair than someone with short hair simply because the hair is longer!

You say you keep it in a bun all the time. This shouldnt cause it to fall out - but make sure you wear hair ties that dont damage the hair - the ones that are coated (non elastic band type) are the kindest and also make sure you dont pull your hair back too tightly on the scalp as this can cause the hair line to reseed a bit.

My hair has Reilly bad breakage it falls out every wear can it be from keeping it in a bun all the time?

Yes.

How do they make squirel hair makeup brushes? What part of the squirel do they use? How do they get

They shave it off the underside of their tail - hopefully they've washed the squirrel poop off of it before you use it on your face!

How do they make squirel hair makeup brushes? What part of the squirel do they use? How do they get the hair?

It is simple. They kill the squirrels, chop off the head, remove guts, and then put them in a machine that makes the brushes.

How do they make squirel hair makeup brushes? What part of the squirel do they use? How do they get the hair?

Never heard of that. Most likley the tail ... but no clue how they catch the squirrel or get the hair

How do they make squirel hair makeup brushes? What part of the squirel do they use? How do they get the hair?

It depends on the size of the brush as to where the hair comes from. Naturally the longer brushes come from the tail and the shorter ones can come from parts of the body. Naturally the squirrels are killed before this happens.

How do they make squirel hair makeup brushes? What part of the squirel do they use? How do they get the hair?

I have not seen one. But it would have to be from the hide of the squirrel. So- the squirrel would be slaughtered for that purpose. I don't think anyone but Granny on the "Beverly Hillbilly's eats squirrel.I didn't know they were raised for the purpose of brush bristles, that's terrible. How sad if they are! Pig bristles come from Pork hides, however the Pig is slaughtered for the consumption of food and the hide is made use of for clothing and things requiring bristles.

How do they make squirel hair makeup brushes? What part of the squirel do they use? How do they get the hair?

They pick it from all over the animal's body.

How do other girls keep their hair so nice?

Seriously, even if I brush my hair every ten minutes, it always looks terrible. Even if I put gel or anything in it. It is kind of wavy and it always ends up all over the place. What do I do?

How do other girls keep their hair so nice?

I have the same problem! I'm considering buying a hair straightener. That seems to do the trick for some people. And also smoothing balm works. I just use some real conditioner and I smooth it through my hair and then I spritz a little bit of hairspray on. Might help but it's really only temporary. My hair hates me. :P

How do other girls keep their hair so nice?

I'm just kinda lucky...sorry...my hair is naturally straight. But sometimes it's annoying! I can never curl it easily. Takes a long time. I guess it's the same with your hair...to straighten it would take a while. What I do is wash it every day with shampoo and conditioner (I think I use too much, but I don't really care) and then I let it dry a little. I then blow-dry it straight...I hold the brush against my hair and bring the dryer down with my hair. It won't be the same for you...because mine is completely different!

How do other girls keep their hair so nice?

try putting a curling mousse in it and blow dry it with a diffuser

=]

How do other girls keep their hair so nice?

try using different shampoos and conditioners that specialize in keeping hair nice and stuff. i dont know alot. But ive got long brownish curly hair. and it always stays nice, and i dont use anythign special. and i think thats exactly why. I dont damage my hair like others. i dont straighten, use hair spray or anything that might hurt my hair.

goodluck:)

How do other girls keep their hair so nice?

my hair was like that untiil i straightened it. try that

How do other girls keep their hair so nice?

don't brush it to much! it will break the hair cuticle and make your hair look dull.

How do other girls keep their hair so nice?

use a hair straightner, the ceramic kind.they're not expensive

How do other girls keep their hair so nice?

you have to blowdry with a round brush and then use a flat iron.

it takes time and work.

How do other girls keep their hair so nice?

well. you could straighten it with a really good straightener. i have a CHI and it works really well. sometimes the type of shampoo and conditioner effects your hair. i use either the Jhon Frieda Collection or Sunsilk. and my hair almost never frizzes.

How do other girls keep their hair so nice?

One thing I have found helpful, is to put a good conditioner, in a spray bottle, mix it with water, and spray my hair when it just won;t do what I want it to. I do brush it about a hundred times, rather than wash it too often, and I apply aloe vera to it also. I grow aloe vera, so I put it on right from the plant. Too much washing can make it dry.

Help, hair diaster!?

today is my b-day party. i need a quick hair style. my hair is an inch below my shoulders, dark brown, and medium curly. I'm thinking of straightening it, i don't have a curler. I'm not very good at straightening hair. i always get the brush stuck in my hair when I'm blow drying! please help me! i can't go out to buy any hair products either. all i have is hair spray, leave in condition, hair moisturizer, straightening balm, anti frizz creme, and anti frizz spray. HELP!!

Help, hair diaster!?

Carefully and slowly blow out your hair with all your balms and creams ( just a drop of each!) Do it one section at a time starting at the root until it is 90% dry. Then use the anti frizz spray on a smaller section of the hair and comb it through. Then spray it with hairspray and wind it around your finger like a corkscrew. Hold it there until the spray dries. Go around the entire crown of your head repeating this and on a few tendrils that show along the sides and back. do not brush through it ...just lightly finger comb or fluff it at the roots to loos ten the curl slightly. Decorate it with a couple of jeweled pins or clips to create a nice shape and viola! A style without a hot iron! spray one more time before leaving.

Help, hair diaster!?

Your hair looks great!

Help, hair diaster!?

pig tails (not high low ones that rest on your shoulder

Help, hair diaster!?

use a straightening balm to make your hair straighter and use a frizz spray to hold a style. as for your hair is concerned if u own a paddle brush ( a brush that has a wooden back or something) then blow dry ur hair with that. It's easier than a round brush. It should get it straight enough, but if not ask someone else to do ur hair.

Help, hair diaster!?

all you need is a cute headband or a hair clip match with your outfit

Help, hair diaster!?

okay, all u need to do is get ur hair wet, then put hairspray in it to keep it straight, or you can curl it even more so it is diffrent either way.

Help, hair diaster!?

Scurnch it while the hair is wet .

Help, hair diaster!?

if you already put products in it wash your hair over again really fast like in the sink. dry it as much as you can with a towel and when you blow dry flip your head over to blow dry it and stop like about every minute to brush it out and when its totally dry brush it out again. to strieten it section it of and streightning all the underneighth hair by itself then all the middle and then the top. afterward just get a little bit of hair moisterizer and a little bit of anti friz and and kind of run your fingers through your hair with it and its always cute to pull a little bit of the front hair and clipping it on top of your head (hard to explain) trust me ive had tons of bad hair days and this always works! NO HAIRSPRAY!!!

Is it necessary for hair to be brushed/combed? not talking about looking neat!?

i'm not talking about so it could be neat and nice looking.. i mean is it necessary for hair to be brushed everday anyways? it is mandatory? does it help hair, scalp and hair growth?

Is it necessary for hair to be brushed/combed? not talking about looking neat!?

If you have curly hair, brushing it will only frizz it out so I recommend you brush it before getting in the shower. Brushing your hair before washing it helps release loose hair and enables a better cleansing too. It helps with circulation of blood flow in the scalp, which is good for hair growth. Good circulation is essential in keeping hair follicles healthy, which helps keep your hair on your head! Brushing long hair keeps it tangle free too, just common sense.

Is it necessary for hair to be brushed/combed? not talking about looking neat!?

umm no. its up to you if u want to brush/comb ur hair.

Is it necessary for hair to be brushed/combed? not talking about looking neat!?

of course not.

think about cavemen.

i mean, we evolved from them.

we turned out all right.

Is it necessary for hair to be brushed/combed? not talking about looking neat!?

It's not really mandatory, if you not concerned with looks, the only reason hair is brushed it to keep it from locking/dreading up.

Don't brush your hair for a while and your head turn into one big dread lock! ^.^

Is it necessary for hair to be brushed/combed? not talking about looking neat!?

Probably not, but if I don't my hair looks a hot mess.

And it gets tangled.

How does one make their hair ratty / tangled? I haven't washed my hair nor brushed it, yet it r

tease it.

Take a clump of hair and your comb or brush and rub the comb vigorously back and forth along the length of hair while holding the ends. it'll frizz it fantastically.

How does one make their hair ratty / tangled? I haven't washed my hair nor brushed it, yet it remains straight

Help! I bleached my hair blonde, and now my hair is fried!!?

HELP ! I BLEACHED MY HAIR AND IT CAME OUT AN YELLOWISH AND ORANGISH COLOR, WITH WHITE ROOTS. BUT THE WORST THING IS MY HAIR IS BADLY FRIED. EVERYTIME I WASH MY HAIR I CANT BRUSH IT BECAUSE IT IS SO BADLY FRIED IT BREAKS OFF! I CANT DYE IT ANYMORE! WHAT SHOULD I DO ? I NEED HELP AND ANSWERS ??

Help! I bleached my hair blonde, and now my hair is fried!!?

Did you leave in the bleach too long?

Should have had gone to the salon if you had doubts.

Theres not much you can do, to be honest.

Help! I bleached my hair blonde, and now my hair is fried!!?

Get some heavy-duty deep conditioner and leave it in for a few hours. Once you wash it out, use some leave-in conditioner. Try and find some that does not contain alcohol, because it dries your hair out even more. For awhile, try to wash your hair every other day, instead of everyday, to retain some natural oils.

Help! I bleached my hair blonde, and now my hair is fried!!?

Christian D offers sound advice. In addition, you will need color correction. You will need to go to a deeper color to even out the variant shades, most likely with a deposit-only color to protect your hair.

Help! I bleached my hair blonde, and now my hair is fried!!?

Sleep with a deep conditioner in your hair every day and don't use shampoo at all for like a week or so .. the natural oils with start to help your hair!

Help! I bleached my hair blonde, and now my hair is fried!!?

Yeah. Just get some deep deep conditionner and try not to wash your hair as much.. you condition it everyday.

(sorry for the pic. cell phone camera obviously, and dirty mirror :/)

i hadnt brushed my hair for ages though, so its not usually that wavy at the front. plus im hopefully getting a straightener for christmas :D

i was thinking of doing my hair like this:

http://s170.photobucket.com/albums/u248/...

or

this:

http://photobucket.com/mediadetail/?medi...

except in platinum.

i originally wanted it brown but my mom was weird and said it would stain it O.o shes letting me get blonder though ^-^

and i know its 'scene' or whatever, butttt no one has that where i live so yeah ^_^

thanks for your help :D

ps-be honest C: id rather hear it wouldnt suit me then get it done and find out then.. :D

Could this hair suit me? :D with pics!?

the first one if anything... although your hair is similar to that as it is. just move your bangs to the side and make it a little blonder... maybe a few more layers. just know it takes work...and you have to be willing to straighten it everyday!! im way too lazy for that

Could this hair suit me? :D with pics!?

i think the 1st 1 would, the second one is ok but hard to look after coz the layers are really short

tas

Could this hair suit me? :D with pics!?

I think you'd look good with the first haircut. :)

Could this hair suit me? :D with pics!?

NOT the second one.

but maybe the first.

idk!

Could this hair suit me? :D with pics!?

i like the first idea

Could this hair suit me? :D with pics!?

Neither. You look better as you are. If you want a change though just go to the hardressers shop. He/she can easily work with you and come up with something that looks better and suits your fancy as well.

Could this hair suit me? :D with pics!?

i really don't like the second one but i like the first one. but with the first one you'd have to grow you're bangs out which might take a while. but good luck.

Could this hair suit me? :D with pics!?

The first one is better for you than the second one. I think you could maybe pull it off if you use make-up too...Otherwise I don't really see you in that hair...sorry.

xoxo

Could this hair suit me? :D with pics!?

I like your hair the way it is, but if I had to pick, the first one is nice. Definitely not the second.

Could this hair suit me? :D with pics!?

I Like them both I really want to try that second look you had in mind for myself...hehe thanks for the idea!!

but yeah you would definitely be able to rock out the first one...Great luck to ya!!

Could this hair suit me? :D with pics!?

the first haircut is ok but not the colour. Your own colour is much prettier. That girl has had her colour done like that to brighten her up, she's probably darker naturally. You don't need that sort of brightening up, you have it already. Maybe you could have a few platinum hightlights to add interest but not the overall solid plat look. It's just too brash with your colouring, you'd look a bit odd.

Could this hair suit me? :D with pics!?

If you really like the 2nd one I think it would suit you but I prefer the first pic in general.

Could this hair suit me? :D with pics!?

The first one is much cuter and fashionable. Second one, I would not catch my daughter dead with that hair cut.

Could this hair suit me? :D with pics!?

Personally, i think that the 1st one would look GREAT, but the 2nd looks sort of goth/emo/whatever... Just stating my opinion on your question.....i'd go for the 1st

I hope that i helped with your decision

Could this hair suit me? :D with pics!?

I think that the first hair cut looks better and the layers are done better. The cut would look good on you but it would be a big change so be ready for it!

Looks like something you would have to put some time into styling everyday so be ready for that too.

But I think you can rock it!

Could this hair suit me? :D with pics!?

I like the first one better than the second one.LOL good luck

Could this hair suit me? :D with pics!?

think number one would look better with your shape of face.

Could this hair suit me? :D with pics!?

i really like how it is now but you obviously want a change so...

i dont like the second one but the first one is cute i think that you would look with this hair:

photobucket.com and type in top model chantal

look at the one where shes in the yellow shirt

sorry i dont know how to put the link on here

Could this hair suit me? :D with pics!?

Whats with the second one? Lol. I mean I love scene hair and teased hair but whoa. =P

Anywaaays you would look amazing with the first one. You could also put some black eyeliner on and some eyeshadow and your new look would be beautiful!

Hair emergency!!!!?

I don't like the way my hair looks. Whenever i brush them, they become really fuzzy, but if i stroke them with my hand they loose a bit of their fuzzyness, and thats good. But when io wear a ponytail, it looks like i don't have that much hair, the tip is very dry and thin. However, when i straighten my hair, they look amazing, although i don't do it anymore, too lazy. Actually i don't care whether my hair is straight or curly, or wavy, i just don't want them to be fuzzy. They sorta look like i have colored and recolored and chemically damaged my hair a LOT!!! But all i did was just straighten them for a few months, but i don't think i damaged them that much, because i always had fuzzy hair. A lot of shampoos promise "smooth %26amp;shiny" look, sure!!!! NONE of them work, i used those oily serums, but they just make my hair look dirty and greasy....gross.Do you know any products that work nicely?I play sports so i always wear a ponytail, whenever i don't i let my hair hang loose.

Hair emergency!!!!?

Usually friz comes from color or perms or brushing. But the true devil is wind. Wind is the worst thing for your hair. Think about it-all the pollution in the air that you don't see is being dragged through our hair. Blow drying is bad too. I do suggest Matrix. They have a shampoo called sleek and smooth. It's in a orange bottle and it works awesome. marry this up with Bioloagge smoothing milk and Wahla!!! Smooth hair!!! The top layer of your hair will always look damagged because that's where the damage occurs most often. Yes if you use too much serum your hair will look greasy but it's because you use it too close to your scalp-Try to do only the mid to ends of your hair-A dime size amount.

Hair emergency!!!!?

it's nice to have wet hair under the sun to avoid dryness..

Hair emergency!!!!?

Use a leave in conditioner and dont blow dry your hair at all let it air dry.

Hair emergency!!!!?

Try using either Vive or Sunsilk shampoos and conditioners for dry/frizzy/curly hair......they are excellent!! I have coarse gray hair and these products help it to lay smooth and soft..Definitely worth a try!!

Hair emergency!!!!?

I have the same problem because my hair is like a frizzy mess after i wash it and let it air dry. I should probably use a shampoo with more moisture to it but my mom want me to go natural with everything i use. that may be the way to go because then you can't damage your hair with chemical but it will take time to get it healthier. I'm working on it and the natural way is the way to go but when you wash it you can use a leave in conditioner or hair gel might help then you blow dry it to make it shine with all it's strength.

Hair emergency!!!!?

take a rest from using heat and color

About spray hair dye...?

for this thing in school we have like a crazy hair day thing and i want to dye my whole head blue. but i wnat to use the spray on kind so its not purmenent. But like i don't want to dye it that morning i would rather do it the night before, but will it be ok if i sleep on it? or will most just like come off when i sleep? also thenext morning when i brush my hair with it be difficult and dry and flakey? lol im not sure about this because i only used this like once for halloween a couple years ago and it sucked i just put my finger threw my hair and it all crackled off so please help!!

About spray hair dye...?

spray on hair dye is like hair spray. To get a solid color you will have to use alot. Imagine what your hair would feel like if you coated it in hairspray. That is what your hair will be like. If you sleep on it, it will probably be uncomfortable, and flatten you "do"

and you won't be able to brush it the next morning

About spray hair dye...?

What the person before me said is absolutely true. Also, if you sleep on it, it will most likely flake off onto your pillow and will be messy. I experienced it and it was not pleasant. SO, if you are going to do that, then you should probably do it in the morning before going to school

HOPE THIS HELPED!! GOOD LUCK! :)

I have a four year old Pom whose hair is thinning terribly. Any idea what causes this?

she had a c section in Sept. to deliver a pup and did ok. Her health is good but we brushed her one day and most of her hair came out in the brush. I'm worried. HELP

I have a four year old Pom whose hair is thinning terribly. Any idea what causes this?

make an appointment with the vet.

I have a four year old Pom whose hair is thinning terribly. Any idea what causes this?

I would talk to your vet about this. It is not normal. If you do not take this seriously.. she could pass away... sadly...

I have a four year old Pom whose hair is thinning terribly. Any idea what causes this?

mange? Some type of skin condition? We had that same problem with our cat and she had cat acne!ha who ever knew cats got zits! But just go to the vet and they will give you some sort of medication or cream.

I have a four year old Pom whose hair is thinning terribly. Any idea what causes this?

a brits hair is prone to thinning like anybody elses hair is

but not at 4years old though

I have a four year old Pom whose hair is thinning terribly. Any idea what causes this?

Could be the stress from the litter. A good quality food and Omega fatty acid supplements can help. She could also be hypothyroid. Your vet can draw some blood and let you know if she needs a daily flavored pill to make her feel better and get her hair bac,.

I have a four year old Pom whose hair is thinning terribly. Any idea what causes this?

before that vet appointment try switching your babies food some foods have been known to cause irritations in dogs one friend I know her havaneese was allergic to the doggie parlor shampoo.

I have a four year old Pom whose hair is thinning terribly. Any idea what causes this?

Have a basic blood panel done on her at the vet and specifically for thyroid function. Have vet check for any type of parasite with skin scraping. See too, if the vet can recommend some type of vitamin or food supplement for this problem. Since she's not that far post-partum, could also be a hormone thing going on, which may be self limiting.

I have a four year old Pom whose hair is thinning terribly. Any idea what causes this?

my dog did the same thing. We ended up taking her to two dermatologists. If it is the same thing as my dog, let me save you a few bucks. Give your dog melatonin. If possible, don't use the off brand. Try somewhere like GNC, it will make a difference. Otherwise try allergy medicine (from you vet) or thyroide. Take you dog to your regular vet before doing any of the

I have a four year old Pom whose hair is thinning terribly. Any idea what causes this?

It could be an allergy, mange, thyroid issues, an infection, or alopecia (alopecia x, late onset alopecia, or canine alopecia). I recommend a trip to the vet. All of these conditions need to be treated. If it is alopecia, you need to inform all the puppy buyers because it is genetic and they should spay their puppies (your girl should be spayed as well if this is the cause). If it is any of the others, medication will clear it up. Thyroid is also genetic. Whether or not mange, and allergies are genetic or not is to be determined by your vet. Infections, unless chronic, are unlikely to be genetic. Chronic infections suggest a compromised immune system though which can be genetic. It doesn't sound like your girl has this problem though. Here's some information on alopecia.

I have a four year old Pom whose hair is thinning terribly. Any idea what causes this?

See the Vet ASAP!

Thinning hair is a sympthom of two serious diseases, Cushings Disease and Diabetes.

Don't wait too long and loose your little girl, like we lost our little Chaz. If your Vet doesn't think anything is wrong, either find a better vet or insist that he do testing for Cushings and Diabetes. We took Chaz to an incompetent boob by the name of Hillard Lawler in Indianola, MS and for two years he told us nothing was wrong. After he got really sick, we took him to another vet, who was highly recommended by many people. Dr. Johnson, took one look and knew it was either Cushings of Diabetes. All it took was one test to make a determination.

Diagnosis came to late for our little Chaz. Don't wait too late for you little girl.

What can I do about oily hair?

My hair gets oily within a day of washing it. This means I wash it everyday. I've tried shampoos and conditioners for oily hair but they don't work. Also talcum powder doesn't work, it doesn't brush out of my hair because my hair's thin. Does anyone know what I can do? Thanks for your help.

What can I do about oily hair?

does the shampoo that you are using have moisture in it? is it a two in one? if so...this could be the start of your problem. if you already have oily hair...you are adding it to your hair. if you are using a two in one, the shampoo is not doing its job. it is not cleaning properly. use seperate shampoo. you may not need a conditioner since it's oily, and it's thin. If it tangles due to the fineness...then use a LIGHT spray in conditioner. Another thing to ask is....are your rinsing properly? Make sure you totally rinse ALL of the product out. What ever product you use, check out the lable, you probably need something like a clairifying shampoo to strip out the excess oil. good luck

What can I do about oily hair?

What can I do about oily hair?

Actually, Dawn's direct foam dish washing stuff helps. use it as shampoo. Also before you take a shower (with dry hair) apply the shampoo while it's dry. If you have a sally's beauty salon in your town, ask for this shampoo that sprays out of a bottle. that's a quick fix.

What can I do about oily hair?

i know exactaly what your talking about. my wife has the same problem even with the thin hair. what she does is she mixes 1 cup of maple syrup and 2 eggs then washes her hair with it once a week. the she finishes up with a rinse with finesse. her mom made this recipe a long *** time ago. and it really works. you should see results about the 3rd time you use it.

What can I do about oily hair?

For oily hair that needs frequent washing, avoid using shine-enhancing products, which can make greasy hair look stringy. Don't use creamy conditioners and waxes that stay on the hair shaft and put your oil production into overdrive. Don't over-brush. Use a dab of leave-in conditioner on the ends only, avoiding the scalp. After you have styled your hair, avoid fingering it or running your fingers through it.

Frequent washing does not encourage the production of oil.

What can I do about oily hair?

Okay, first of all stop using shampoos and conditioners for oily hair. All they are doing is stripping the natural oils from your hair so your scalp is going into overdrive and producing more oil to make up for what you washed out. Try using shampoos that have a creamy base, meaning they don't look transparent/clear, they are opaque looking. ex: pantene These types generally won't strip the oil from your hair. Buy a shampoo for normal or dry hair ( I know this sounds weird but trust me).

Also, instead of washing your hair everyday, on the second day try baby/talcum powder but use it sparingly, just on the top of your head where the oil shows and just a little at a time. Lightly dust it in and then flip your head over, shake as much as you can out and then if there is any remaining take a damp paper towel and blot it out.

This is what works for me, hope it does for you.

What can I do about oily hair?

i used to have oily too. i then started showering more often. now my hair doesn't get oily. maybe u shouldn't shower as much. i shower every other day because my hair gets dehydrated if i shower too much. some people put coconut oil in their hair. i don't know if that suits everyone though. try going on wikihow. here is a link.

Do girls masturbate with hair brush handles?

I am sure that some women may use hair brush handles... along with many other household items. My cousin told me once she used a plunger handle. I say, to each their own. Personally, I do not use a hair brush or any household item. I like my dildo!

What is the product that they use to straighten your hair permanently whitout iron..even if you get

one of my friends had that treatment done a couple of weeks ago in a hair salon...he told me they used an hair product to straighten his hair and they brushed it backwards until it got perfectly straighten...it's a permenant treatment ..and its not the japanese one...it costs around 60$ ...so i was wondering what kind of product (brush too) they used on him and where can i find it.

the problem was that his old hair (which had a treatment) was perfeclty straight...but the new hair that was growing was curly as usual...so thats why i want to know what the product is called so i can do it myself and avoid spending too much money on updates...can someone help me please?

What is the product that they use to straighten your hair permanently whitout iron..even if you get it wet?

Actually any permanent wave solution, the ones you can buy over the counter, will work well. You just apply the solution (the smelly one) and use a brush or comb to comb your hair until it's straight. Of course, any new curly hair will have to have it applied to straighten it also. If you were to roll the hair and apply this concoction, it would make the hair permanently (for about 2-3 months) curly. If you comb it through curly hair without the rollers, it will straighten it!

What is the product that they use to straighten your hair permanently whitout iron..even if you get it wet?

Is it a relaxer?

What is the product that they use to straighten your hair permanently whitout iron..even if you get it wet?

relaxer

What is the product that they use to straighten your hair permanently whitout iron..even if you get it wet?

You can either use a hair straightener, which is pretty harsh. Or you can use a perm solution, and just brush it straight during the treatment process. I think from the description, that this is what they used.

What is the product that they use to straighten your hair permanently whitout iron..even if you get it wet?

The girls around my area like to straighten their hair as well, one of the most popular in our saloons are rebonding technique

What is the product that they use to straighten your hair permanently whitout iron..even if you get it wet?

its a relaxer but you always have to do the new growth cause duh its jus like a color dye when new comes in you have to treat it to

What is the product that they use to straighten your hair permanently whitout iron..even if you get it wet?

If you are asking this question because you want to get the chemical and do it yourself, that is a very BAD IDEA. They do this procedure at salons with trained professionals because the toxicity of these products is very high. You could put yourself, your friends, or your pets in danger if you have it in your house.

What is the product that they use to straighten your hair permanently whitout iron..even if you get it wet?

I think it is ammonia but i do not know for sure..it is the same stuff they use in perms (to make your hair curly) they just brush out your hair instead of putting it in curlers. I got a perm done recently. It smells really bad but it ended up great. I do not recommend doing it at home though. I know people who have had it go wrong and their hair got so brittle it started breaking until they couldn't have it processed again until they totally grew out their hair.

What is the product that they use to straighten your hair permanently whitout iron..even if you get it wet?

Relaxer or perm..you can buy that in the store.

How do I clean my cat's grooming brush?

I have a Short hair cat of Burmese descent. I groom him with a soft brush and a bristle brush twice a week. My problem is the soft brush is snagged with a lot of his shed hair and i dont know how to clean it well. I have tried running water with baby shampoo or mild soap, it cleans off some hairs but when the brush dries, there are quite a bit of remainder. Please help... thank you in advanced.

How do I clean my cat's grooming brush?

COMB! Wide tooth or electric tape right across the top of it, then zip it off!

How do I clean my cat's grooming brush?

Run a steel-toothed comb through the brush first, then wash it. That should work.

How do I clean my cat's grooming brush?

If your bristle brush is like a slicker try taking that over the soft one a few times. Otherwise you could always soak the soft brush also.

How do I clean my cat's grooming brush?

Run a comb through it and then try vacuuming it out.

How do I clean my cat's grooming brush?

very carefully

How do I clean my cat's grooming brush?

use your vacuum cleaner... on the brush, not the cat

What is the best way to clean a boar bristle hair brush?

Treat a natural bristle brush as you would your own hair... well kind of like it. When your brush starts looking dirty, it's time to clean it.

Use a comb to remove any hair that is caught in the brush. Fill the sink with warm water, add a little of your shampoo, and swish the brush around in the water. Alternately, you could put some shampoo in your hand, work up a thick lather, and then gently massage the lather thru the bristles. If necessary you can use another hair brush, or old toothbrush, to scrub thru the bristles. Rinse well with cool water. Shake the excess water from the brush and allow it to air dry on the counter.

What is the best way to clean a boar bristle hair brush?

In the salon we use Quats.....at home I use shampoo and another hairbrush and rub the bristles together....

What is the best way to clean a boar bristle hair brush?

Just use a mild shampoo in a basin warm water and make a lather using the brush that way you dissolve or the grease and gunk if you wash hair brush once a week you wont get to much of a build up on the bristles.

I want to dye and cut my hair into a different style. what style should i have?

well my hair is about shoulder length, just straight no layers or anything, no bangs, and the color is like dark blonde, almost a really light brown. My hair grows at a slow rate, but i want it long-ish...But short might look cute, just not like a boys cut. I want it so i can still put in a ponytail. I think i want either light brown or a color i found was called Amber Shimmer- Light pure golden brown (http://clairol.com/herbalessences/vibran...

How would that look? I have fair-light skin, and blue eyes.

I think i want it layered, like how all the girls can brush their hair back. I just want it too look really amazing.

Any advice? what would you suggest?

Mohawk!

I want to dye and cut my hair into a different style. what style should i have?

seventeen.com has a hairstyle quiz that helps you decide what your best hairstyle should be

you should search hairstyles for your face shape (heart, square, oval, etc)

seventeen always has stuff on that in their issues (but not the last 3, look farther back)

I want to dye and cut my hair into a different style. what style should i have?

Layers would look really cute if you don't have fine/thin hair. Also if you think you can upkeep it everyday, you will have to use products to piece them individually. If you are looking for a really cute hair style, I think you should try growing it out. Golden brown is a cute color, and will def bring out your eyes.

I want to dye and cut my hair into a different style. what style should i have?

The link doesn't work but you should totally get alota layers and side-bangs!

I want to dye and cut my hair into a different style. what style should i have?

To make your hair grow longer: In the shower, run your scalp and hair under hot water. Then quickly turn it to ice cold and soak your head. It really makes it grow faster without as many split ends.

Try a golden blond. I have almost the exact same features and I get compliments ALL the time on the color. For a style, get it layered with a-2-inch-above-the-chin bangs. Make sure the layers aren't too short or it looks freaky. But make sure that they are longer than the bangs.

Hope that works! :D

Is it ok to blow-dry with round brush when hair is completely dry?

Or would my hair lose its moisture and flat ironing is a better option?

Is it ok to blow-dry with round brush when hair is completely dry?

If it's completely dry, then blow drying won't do anything to it. Better flat iron.

Is it ok to blow-dry with round brush when hair is completely dry?

It should be okay as long as your hair is well conditioned and you don't resort to using heat on your hair on a regular basis.

Is it ok to blow-dry with round brush when hair is completely dry?

That wouldn't do anything for it though if you wanted to straighten it.

My hair brokes when i wash them. What can i do to save my hair?

i am 23 male. I have long hair, but not very long. When i brush up my hair or wash them, my hair brokes very much. plz give some suitable suggestion.

My hair brokes when i wash them. What can i do to save my hair?

All sorts of things can cause damage to your hair. First, try using conditioner, and a moisturizing shampoo when you wash your hair. Put conditioning balm through your hair before styling it dry. If that doesn't work, try eating more raw fruits and vegatables and LOTS of greens. These have tons of vitamin B in them that strengthen keratin, the stuff hair, nails, and animal horns are made of. If that doesn't work, try leading a less strefful lifestyle, inclding laying off of caffeine, getting enough sleep, and practising anger management techniques. If that doesn't work, see your doctor for a checkup. You may have some kind of illness or disorder that you are unaware of, and the hair and nails are usually good indicators of overall health of a person.

sounds like you have damaged hair - you may want to try some conditioner or hot oil treatments. If they don't work you need to ask someone who works for a salon, what they think may be the problem. If they can't help you see a doctor, it could be your diet or even medication you are taking.

My hair brokes when i wash them. What can i do to save my hair?

Learn to use proper grammar and spelling. I think that's a very suitable suggestion.

You just need to get some conditioner.

My hair brokes when i wash them. What can i do to save my hair?

I had this problem before. you might need to change your shampoo to something with more nutrients for your hair. also will need to get some good conditioner (maybe some leave in). this stuff may cost more, but its worth it. your hair might be extremly dry, (depending on where you live) or thin. sometimes you have to spend more money, and go to a salon to see someone who can help strenghten your hair, if that doesn't work. Good Luck!

What was the worst thing that you ever did to your hair?

when i was about 7, i loved to sneak into my parents room and try on my mothers makeup. i saw her curling iron (except at the time i didn't know what it was) and i tried brushing my hair with it, but it got all tangled and wouldn't come out. my dad had to cut it out so i was missing a big chunk of my hair on one side and had to wear my hair on a side part for a about a year. what about you guys? what was the worst thing you ever did to your hair?

What was the worst thing that you ever did to your hair?

when i was little, at around six year old, me and my best friend decided to our very own "beauty shop hair cutter game". i didn't get a chance to chop my friends gorgeous brown, silky locks off, my friend wanted to cut mine first. she decided to layer my hair extremely. she chopped and chopped and chopped and she made my hair so un-even that it took a year to grow back. i had to get such a short cut, somebody called me a little boy. i was sobbing and me and my friend got in horrible trouble beyond belief.

What was the worst thing that you ever did to your hair?

In 6th grade I let my mother convince me to get my hair cut in a "wedge" style...I have naturally curly hair so my head looked like a mushroom for a loooooooong time. Possibly the worst hairstyle EVER.

What was the worst thing that you ever did to your hair?

i was 15 and bleached it to mush. It turned bright clown orange, but the roots were bright white.it was completley fried. i cried when i looked in the mirror. i had to dye it brown and wait a few months, then i was able to get it to blonde.

I have like really dark brown hair, but I bleached it for a year and I looked like Shakira, it was kind of gross. So then one day I decided I wanted to try and dye it back to brown myself so I used that L'Oreal Color Experte crap and my hair turned 3 different colors: dark brown, orange, and random bleached streaks. My mom took me to a salon to get it fixed, and instead of actaully going back to brown I had the lady bleach my hair again, so my hair was gross! Way too blonde, way too processed, and way unnatural. My hair started breaking off and falling out after that, so I had to cut 8 inches off, dye it back to my natural color and wait for my hair to grow back healthy.

What was the worst thing that you ever did to your hair?

um.... one time I was blowing bubble gum and it popped and went on my hair.I had to cut my hair really short.

What was the worst thing that you ever did to your hair?

One night after a few too many drinks I got it into my head that it would be an incredibly good idea to dye the tips of my hair blonde. The theory was, if it looked ugly I could just cut it off. unfortunately i overestimated my drunken co-ordination and the next morning I woke up to find random chunks of bleached hair all over my head! Not only was it hideous, it was very tough to explain to my mom..

Ever enjoyed the way your Mom brushed your hair ? or not so pleasant ...?

Why is an 18 year old girl losing her hair?

my friend is worried about hairloss...She tells me that when she takes a shower her hair falls... when she brushes her hair lots of hair falls.... she is 18 years old, and her family has no problem with hairloss... what shampoos can she use? her hairline is starting to show more....

Why is an 18 year old girl losing her hair?

Humans lose 100 hairs a day. It's normal. If she brushes her hair more often, then those loose hairs will collected and won't come out when she takes a shower.

Why is an 18 year old girl losing her hair?

um is this "friend" you?

Why is an 18 year old girl losing her hair?

She could be dyeing her hair too much, or if she has an unhealthy diet, overweight or maybe shes anorexic/bulemic. Those are some causes of it. She should maybe see a doctor soon.

Why is an 18 year old girl losing her hair?

Good artical

Why is an 18 year old girl losing her hair?

She could have cancer:

My grandma had cancer and everyday more hair would fall out soon she started to wear lots of hats and natural looking wigs that were her hair color so it didnt look fake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Why is an 18 year old girl losing her hair?

She could be dieing her hair too much. And to Laurel, the only reason people with cancer lose their hair is because of Chemotherepy and other medications. So if someone isn't on Cancer medications, then their hair wouldn't fall out.

I need the name of a movie about a captive child whose hair was used to make paint brushes?

It was from around 1990. The kid's hair grew very quickly and his captor cut it off to make paint brushes. He was eventually rescued after a chase through paintings? Sort of trippy.... I'm almost certain I saw it on HBO. Please, this has been nagging me for months!

I need the name of a movie about a captive child whose hair was used to make paint brushes?

It is called "The Peanut Butter Solution." The film was made in 1985.

Getting my hair straight all over?

Hi i was wondering how i get my hair to be straight all over. it stays straight on the top and the sides but the back . my hair is about a half inch to inch in length all over. i heard blow drying with a round brush will condition the hair to stay up. i kinda want to get that gotti look but not as long. any tips out there.

Getting my hair straight all over?

after you take a shower let it air dry instead of drying it with a hair blower then streighten it and also chi's are amazing but if thats out of your budget range they sell conair streighteners that are pretty good if that dosent work then next time you go to the salon tell your stylist to put a relaxer in your hair it should keep it pin streight for at least two weeks

Getting my hair straight all over?

Remington Wet2Straight Straightener,Work's Wonders!

Blowdrying hair straight?

I have a few ?'s about it

1) will there still be a little wave in your hair?

2) what kind of brush is best?

3) my blowdrier has 5 settings, cool, warm, hot, and low and high. What combinations should i use?

a)cool, high

b)cool, low

c)warm, high

d)warm, low

e)hot, high

f)hot, low

Blowdrying hair straight?

Ok well.. it is very hard to do it with a hairdryer... especially if you're doing it to yourself. But it can get dead straight (the pro's do it for me at the salon) You want to have damp hair at the time, not wet. You want it hot on low speed (its possible with high speed but if you dont have the technique, you'll get a whole lot of frizz!) and use a round soft bristled brush. Blowdry it from root to tip, once you are done switch to cool (still on low) and hold the hairdryer on top of you head pointing down to reduce frizz. Finish with a small amount of defrizzing serum and wa-la. Goodluck!

Oh and a tip of the trade to reduce frizz is to get a tissue, spray it lightly with hairspray and wipe down the frizz, it works really well!

Blowdrying hair straight?

I find that blow drying just does that dries your hair. Invest in a straigher - all the action without hte fuzz, frise, and static

Blowdrying hair straight?

There will still be a wave, just a flat brush, and probaly c.

Blowdrying hair straight?

ummm i'll go wit hot low jus a luck guess my head tells me to say!!i dont know if iam write

Blowdrying hair straight?

I have super curly hair, so it does not work with me.

If you have straighter hair it probably will work.

For the brushes, square brushes are the best!

I would say to use high warm.

Blowdrying hair straight?

It depends what your natural hair is like, and how much damage you're willing to do to it. My hair is naturally very curly, so it's still frizzy and needs straightening after I blowdry it. My sister has wavy hair and it looks perfect after she blowdries it.

Use a round brush, like one with bristles going all around the brush. This helps the hair stay straight while you're blowdrying it.

High dries it the fastest but could do the most damage or make it frizzy, so if you don't want to straighten it afterward, it may be bad. The hotter it is, the more humidity will be dried out of your hair, so the more likely it will be to stay straight, but it will also do more damage to your hair and could be uncomfortable. So it depends on how fast, how well, and how much damage you're willing to do.

Blowdrying hair straight?

First, it depends on the texture of your natural hair. It also depends on the current condition of your hair and how you've been treating it.

Blowdrying hair straight?

Hot-medium 4 heat

and cool to set your style

A round brush is the best

Blowdrying hair straight?

1) depends on how well you do it. and how curly your hair is.

2) i use a regular brush.. but it has holes in it to allow air flow.

3) i use hot and high.

Blowdrying hair straight?

I have probably some of the curlest hair you will ever see, but I have discovered this AMAZING hair dryer, and they sell it at walmart! And best of all, it doesn't leave my hair dry, and my hair is sooo straight.

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d...

The best setting to use is the highest that you can use. (I realllly suggest buying the hair dryer in the link above. I've been using it for about half of a year, and it was worth EVERYTHING! I don't have to straighten my hair with a flat iron anymore)

The best hair brush to use is a barrel one. The ones with holes in them. This is an example of one:

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31...

There will not be any wave in your hair if you do this.

After you get out of the shower squeeze your hair into the skin to get any excess water out, then wrap a towel around your hair, and pile it ontop of your head. (think of the indian headpieces). Then, rub your hair, while the towel is on top. After waiting a little bit, take it off, and make sure that your hair is still wet, but not soaking wet.

After that, blow dry your hair, piece by piece, and take the barrel brush, and curl it through your hair, with the hairbrush right next to it, and brush down, slowly (trust me, it won't curl)

Repeat until done.

Trust me, this really, really, really works! And you should buy that hair dryer that I showed you. It's worth everything.

Hope this helps, and didn't bore you too much! :)

Why is my hamster startin to lose hair??

a month ago or somethin like dat i got a hamster and now on her back near her head im noticin alittle hair loose. i even brush forward the fur their to see if its continuin and its sorta is. so im really worried... plz help! what should i do?

Why is my hamster startin to lose hair??

Well, she could be excessivley scratching. Or she could not be getting enough protien. You could try giving her a little bit of scrambled egg everyonce in a while. She could also have a vitamin deficiency. It could be mites, or lots of other things.

I really can't tell you anything more, but my link should help you.

!!YAY!!

Why is my hamster startin to lose hair??

Get vet advice!

It could be a number of things, stress, irritation due to the bedding material etc. Don't panic too much though - the location on the hamster you are describing 'appears' to get a bit thinner as the hamster grows. They have a lot of skin in this area. You can't see cause of the fur - but hamsters have a lot of excess skin. It allows them to be manouverable when being attacked by predators ie if being held in a bite they can twist and turn easily to escape. I refer to it as their tufty spot - but it's always best to get advice from your vet.

Best of luck :)

Why is my hamster startin to lose hair??

Chemo-Therepy?

Baldness runs in its family?

Under too much stress?

Mal-nutrition?

Why is my hamster startin to lose hair??

Shes probably sick.. my dog was sick and he lost a lot of his hair. I'd get her to the vet.. fast. Just to make sure.

Why is my hamster startin to lose hair??

I would recommend cleaning your hamster's cage twice a week. There might be something that's making your hamster's fur to fall out. Remember, it is Summer time, so, if it's shedding, then, that's normal, but, if it's hair loss, and the fur is comming out, to where there is only skin, then I would recommend talking to a vet. If you don't have a vet in your area, you can always google search "hamster hair loss." If it is shedding, you should still try to clean the cage twice a week. The loose fur can cause allergies. Also, it's not that healthy for your hamster. To be living and breathing in his/her own fur!

I hope that this helps! If you have anymore questions, you can email me at: pethelper4@yahoo.com! Thanks!

Why is my hamster startin to lose hair??

Their could be a few possible reasons why.

She could have mites which are irritating her and causing her to pull and scratch her hair away, or you hamster could be older than you realise. Hamsters naturally loose hair with age.

Hormonal imbalances and illnesses can also be linked with hair loss. Check her whole body for any little lumps to rule out cancer and tumors.

And finally get her to the vet. Its probably nothing at all for you too worry about but any changes in your pet needs to always be checked over by someone who is qualified and knows what they are looking for.

Why is my hamster startin to lose hair??

HAIR LOSS (ALOPECIA)

Hair loss can occur for a number of reasons in hamsters and can be due to both disease and nondisease conditions. Continual rubbing on feeders or sides of the cage and barbering (hair chewing by cage mates) are examples of non-disease causes of alopecia. Infestation with demodectic mites is one of the most common infectious causes of patch alopecia and crusty skin in hamsters. Other conditions that lead to hair loss include adrenal tumors, thyroid deficiency, and chronic kidney disease. Some of these conditions may be manageable while others are not.

take her to the vet!!

Why is my hamster startin to lose hair??

GO TO THE VET RIGHT NOW

I have curly hair, but I straight permed it. I don't want to keep it straight can i curly perm

Four months ago I straightened my hair using the Japanese method. I have really curly natural hair so my roots are curly now, and I have to straighten them everyday with a ceramic straightener, or blow dry my hair using a round brush. I don't want to be stuck straightening my hair until the part I straitened grows out, so can i curly perm it?

I have curly hair, but I straight permed it. I don't want to keep it straight can i curly perm it again?

perming is a bad idea in general. It ruins your hair. Try getting a non damaging str8tner, some products from damaged hair and some oils. Then you can straighten ur hair or curl ur hair like evry day or a mixture of both

choose a best answer?

hope i helped

I have curly hair, but I straight permed it. I don't want to keep it straight can i curly perm it again?

you are going to kill your hair. talk to your hair dresser.

I have curly hair, but I straight permed it. I don't want to keep it straight can i curly perm it again?

yeah im sure that u can.. :)

I have curly hair, but I straight permed it. I don't want to keep it straight can i curly perm it again?

Sure you can. But i wouldn't i would get it straighted with the japenese method again. Because then if you perm it again your hair will be totally dried out!!!

Good luck!

Blakely

I have curly hair, but I straight permed it. I don't want to keep it straight can i curly perm it again?

I don't see why you can't.

I have curly hair, but I straight permed it. I don't want to keep it straight can i curly perm it again?

My mom did it, so you can.

Why am I losing so much hair?

I'm only a 19 year old female with no hair loss in my family, but lately every time I take a shower or brush my hair, lots of it comes out. All my clothes are covered with my own hair and I'm not sure what to do. This has be going on from somewhere between two weeks to a month--I haven't really thought much of it until this morning.

Why am I losing so much hair?

if you have an eating disorder that can cause it. also stress

Why am I losing so much hair?

you may be having a vitamin deficiency. Try taking a daily suppliment.

Why am I losing so much hair?

possibly stress

Why am I losing so much hair?

When I was in boot camp my hair fell out something terrible and it also did it when I was pregnant so it has to be due to stress!

Why am I losing so much hair?

Too much stress?

Why am I losing so much hair?

You lose about 100 hairs per day...this is natural. If you are losing more than that, then I would see your doctor.

Why am I losing so much hair?

Why haven't you called your doctor about it then if this doesn't run in your family?

Did you recently dye your hair, do you use alot of hair products, are you stressed? That could be a reason as well

Why am I losing so much hair?

Could be a hormonal imbalance. I have the same thing. While it's normal to lose some, I have lost more than what should be considered normal. Although, I can't see a doc. If you can, talk to one ASAP. Much luck.

Why am I losing so much hair?

ME TOO! In fact I believe I asked that question on here as well. I notice it the most when I'm taking a shower. So much of it comes out you'd think I was balding. It's kinda scary. Do you have curly/wavy hair? For some reason I shed less when I straighten my hair. Also, is your hair long? That could have something to do with it as well. Try to remember to take your vitamins and stay healthy.

Why am I losing so much hair?

If you are stressed, you will shed. I tho't I would go bald while taking real estate classes, once I passed the state test, the hair loss stopped... Stress makes me shed.... check your stress level...holidays are stressful for some people.

Why am I losing so much hair?

SEE A DOCTOR. You may have a medical problem of which acute hair loss is a symptom. If you are gaining weight and are really sleepy all the time, it could be hypothyroidism ... or an eating disorder can cause hair loss, or diabetes can in some people ... so SEE A DOCTOR as soon as you can!

Why am I losing so much hair?

My girlfriend looses tons of hair, she is 22 and has no hairloss in her family. I wouldn't worry about it, but if you are concerned, you can ask your doctor about it at your next checkup. It is natural to shed, don't worry about it too much.

Why am I losing so much hair?

PERHAPS STRESS OR THYROID

Why am I losing so much hair?

dont use to much shampoo or conditioner.

Why am I losing so much hair?

i heard certain cancer can make you lose hair

hopefully you don't have it though

it may be your shampoo

is it pantene?

because pantene causes hair to fall out

since it has strong ingredients

get it checked with your doctor

hope everything goes well

Why am I losing so much hair?

Hair loss can come from stress or an unhealthy diet. If you are worried then you should go see a dermatologist and they can help you and narrow down what might be causing your hair loss. Your body might be lacking something. Good luck...and try not to worry.

Why am I losing so much hair?

scientists(sp) say women lose up to 100 strands a day, somtimes more. Stress can cause it also. I wouldnt worry to much unless you can noticably see bald spots on your head. Then you should definitly call your doctor. I have tons of hair in the shower drain I have to clean out after I shower. Im 25 and havent gone bald yet.

Why am I losing so much hair?

either you have split ends and need to get it cut or are you possibly anorexic? if so, thats the problem. split ends break very easily. emphasis on easy

Why am I losing so much hair?

Are you on any medications? If yes....check online for side effects. I have heard about hair loss as a side effect for some prescriptions meds. It wouldn't hurt to see your doctor and ask about what he/she thinks it could be from. Do you have bald spots or areas of thinning? If so....I would definetely call your doctor.

Good Luck

Why am I losing so much hair?

how serious is it? Is your hair noticably thinner? I had the same problem, went to the doctor and found out I had iron deficiency. Dyeing your hair or bleaching it often enough can also do this to hair. Hormonal changes, diet changes and winter can also effect this hair loss problem.

Do you have any more problems that you have noticed lately, like in the past few months? I will check back on your question and try to answer it properly if you are able to elaborate on anything else occuring

Why am I losing so much hair?

Maybe you are used to eat not with the right order or it's cause of too much stress.

Why am I losing so much hair?

The most likely cause is not enough protein in the diet. Extreme stress coupled with low biotin can definitely cause hair loss. See a dermatologist for treatment...it's something they deal with all the time.

Why am I losing so much hair?

I have had the same thing happen to me, a couple of times. It could be a vitamin deficiency. So long as it's not falling out in chunks causing bald spots then I'm sure it will stop on it's own.

Why am I losing so much hair?

have you been stressed out lately?....have you been straightening your hair? if so, maybe it could be that you are frying your hair...or it could be your shampoo or conditioner. the bottom line is...you need hairapy. lol

no...ummm...maybe you are brushing too hard and are tearing your hair out. be a little more gentle with your hair if you want it to last. it could also be the quality of your hair. ya know, dying your hair...then again, it could be something in your diet. well sorry that's all i got and good luck with fixing the hair loss. i'd suggest seeing a doctor as soon as possible, before you lose any more hair.

Why am I losing so much hair?

ok hun, first rule of taking good hair care is DO NOT BRUSH YOUR HAIR WHEN IT IS WET NO MATTER THE SITUATION!!

your hairs week point is when its wet, and if you brush it when it is wet, you will break it and damage the roots etc.

second make sure you are not using conditioner on your scalp. when you use conditioner, tie your hair in a pony tail, and that is how you know what part of your hair to use conditioner on. make sure your shampoo doesnt have any harmfull substances of course, and finaly i would suggest you check up with a hair proffesionalist. The sooner you find out whats going on the better. Who knows, maybe you are one of those few women who start hair loss in their early age, so get a checkup just in case.

p.s. dont use shampoo on the rest of your hair besides the hair on your scalp! it breaks the hairs!

Why am I losing so much hair?

Have you been stressing about anything? Have you changed your diet? Your suppose to lose exactly 100 strand per day! Have you had your ends cut? I have been going through the same thing, I bought this stuff called nutri-nex, its a treatment for your scalp that helps when its thinning or falling out. I've been using it for a month and it works GREAT. My hair still sheds, but its not thinning and its thicker- EVERYTHING will be OK!

Why am I losing so much hair?

It is natural to lose a small amount of hair in the daily grooming process. If it is substantially more than usual, look for the offending factor. What have you changed recently? Shampoo, conditioner, body lotions, and take a very close look at your diet and medications..especially birth control meds. I've been a licensed hairdresser for over 30 years, it is usually something simple that you have overlooked. Don't panic but agressively examine everything you take into your system that is different now. Everything you take in affects your hair. Stress is also a determining factor, everything in your life in check? Good luck.

Why am I losing so much hair?

I have long natural curly hair, and I'm surprised that I'm not bald yet.. I have to clean out the drains after a shower and two brushes every day, I use to be a hair puller as a self harm behavior, could be that for me, but stress, pregnancy, eating disorders, lack of vitamins etc.. it could be almost anything.. get it checked by a doctor if you don't fall under any of these categories.. Good Luck

Why am I losing so much hair?

Do you work anywhere near an x-ray machine? What, (if anything) has changed in your diet?
