How do i get rid of lint in my brush?

ive soacked it overnight and there still not gone

i have a plastic brush its rectangular, not those round ones

but it still collects lint and it ends up in my hair after i brush with it

it grosses me out

you could get a lighter and quickly go over your brush with the flame just as long as the bristles dont fuse toether or warp id be careful
