What is the best way to control flyaway hair?

I'm thinking permanent cure here without rebonding or any of that stuff.

My hair is short - about an inche above my shoulders and I really want long hair now to mark the change in life but somehow I cannot do this because of my flyaway hair. When a fan or a light brush of air brushes thru my hair, it messes up already. What to do?

PS. If there is no other cure for this - tell me, even any of those rebonding kinda stuff. (My hair is virgin)

if your cool about having a salon blowdry your hair they do an awesome job and this problem goes away, once or twice a week have a blowdry, they will wash and treat ur hair then add a serum which u can buy at most salons or whrever u buy accesories for hair, a very small amount is applied an inch away from the roots smoothed into the rest of your hair then the temp from the blow dryer heats the serum and smoothes down the fly away. once the hair is dryed and styled try loreal infinium hairspray, its unlike any other hairspray u can use, its so light its like ur not wearing any in ur hair and less damaging too this will add security to keep those flyaways down, id then go out and celebrate and flick it all over the place cos u wont have that fly away problem again!!! lol xoxo

I think maybe you can use lots of oil. To make ur hair better and stiff, it will not make ur hair fly again! And cut down those conditionars. They will make your hair too soft and drop!

you can use a ion blow dryer after you wash your hair. (and if you're too lazy, just use a towel right after your shower and wrap up your hair in it entirely and wait for like 10mins and then blow dry it) everyone says it "dries out your hair" but it really doens't it really helps my hair and if i don't do it, i get frizziness everywhere in the morning. and make sure you blow dry it down so the flyaways wont stay up. it might leave the hair frizzy for a few minutes, but it'll settle down later.

and the ganier fructis frizz control helps A LOT. its a lot better than tresseme thats for sure. and if you take a shower in the morning or something , to keep the frizziness from the dryer happening, just put the garnier fructis product in and run it through your hair.

idk how permanent it is, but i use shampoo that on the bottle it says "fly away control" so might want to look into that, nothing extra to do. but wash it with something different.
