i always brush it out in the shower and then dry it, but i hav girl hair, so it might not work. other wise, dry when u get out of the shower. leave it wet and it gets frizzy and tangled.

Looks like you are going to have your hair relaxed if you want that style and have such full hair. A cut is not enough to get that style for you most likely.
