How do I add volume to my hair if I wash at night?

I take showers at night since I don't like to get up any earlier than I need to in the morning. But I find that I don't get the volume in my hair the way I like unless I blow dry and round brush after washing my hair.

Any suggestions on how I can add volume to my fine hair while it's completely dry? Are hot rollers too damaging to use on most days?
