Wet hair question?

I've always herd not to brush your hair when it is wet. Why is this?

Wet hair question?

Brushing can cause your hair to break and create split ends.

Using a comb and working from the bottom of your hair upward when combing it out is the best way to keep from getting split ends.

it is prone to breakage

It makes you get split ends

Wet hair question?

When it's wet, your hair is more fragile, and more liable to break. Exactly why this is so, you'll have to ask some of the chemists and physicists around here!

I always brush my hair when it's wet and so far nothing happened...

If you want to straighten it more, brush when wet.

If you have a problem with too much body, then wait until it has already half dried.

If you are nervous about hurting your hsir, use a big-toothed comb. Or use your fingers.

Hair varies from head to head, so - honestly - the best way to know is trial and error. Try brushing, then not brushing, and then notice how your hair acts for the next day.

The reason is because you will keep you natural volume and texture, rather then brushing them out.

I brush my hair when it's wet and it breaks,so that's probley why but I don't have time to wait for it to dry!
