Have your hair cut to chin or shoulder length. Any longer than that will pull it down, weigh it down.

Use a volumizer shampoo and same with conditioner.

After shampooing %26amp; conditioning, make your last rinse with cold water as much as you can stand it. Cold water will close the pores and help the root stand.

Dry your hair from the roots out. Hang your head upside down %26amp; use a wide tooth comb to help get out tangles without damaging the fragile wet %26amp; thin hair shaft.

Then style your layers with your round brush. Don't use too much dry heat.'

Use a volumizing moose or gel..take the round brush under the hair and roll it and place your blow dryer closest to the scalp for more volume

Bend over when blow drying your hair (use a volumizer), brushing it as it dries. When you stand back upright - Voila - a full, bouncy head of hair..........then spray it to stay in place.

if you want a messy hairstyle you can just spray over the center layer and tie it all up with 1 pin it usually takes practise but the pin is big!

if you want a decent hairstyle just spray over the top layer lightly and comb.

you didn't mention the length but try sleeping on it wet with some root lift product in it (I use something from Ficocello's called "rootlift" so look for something like that, you can use it on wet or dry hair to add volume and texture) it'll be all poufy in the morning then using a curling iron to finish it in the morning focus on the roots and make sure after u apply the curling iron you allow the section you just curled to cool off before you do anything to it

The best way to add volume to your hair is to rollerset it. Roll your hair up and sit under a dryer. you can use a vent brush to wrap it around your head. This will make your hair look thicker with extra volume.

BE CAREFUL with a round brush - I rolled my hair with one and had to cut my hair to get the brush out - you can buy volumizing shampoo, conditioner, moose (forgot how to spell), and hairspray!@

The best person who can help you would be your beautician. There are cuts, I believe razor cuts that can add body to your hair. There are also shampoos, (you have to shampoo your hair anyway, so not a lot of products), but anyway that add body also. The round brush, if I know what you are talking about, is the brush all around, right? You just have to take the hair and put the brush under the hair and pull it the way you want it to go. Like you are either straightening it out, or trying to curl it by twisting it a certain way. You just pull it the way you want it to go. The brush will do the rest and follow your lead. Hope this is clear enough. Good luck.

try flipping it out. It will give the appearance that it's thicker than what it really is.

I know how to use a round brush cause I'm a cosmetologist, but I can't just tell u.... I'd have to show you. Sorry.

Go to a beauty supply store and ask them to show you.

I watched my hairdresser style my hair (straight, thin and layered) and imitated her :)

After I shampoo I don't use any conditioner (only once a week). Towel dry. I spritz Pantene Full%26amp;Thick volumizing spray at the roots and massage into your scalp with your fingers. Take a large round brush (natural bristles worked best for me) and use it like you're putting hot rollers in. (I'm finding it hard to describe.) put the brush on the top of your head. Push down, slide it forward, and roll it back. A section of hair is probably stuck in the bristles of the brush, right? Just keep rolling it back while pulling away from your head. With your other hand, point the hairdryer at the section of hair that you're holding away from your head.

If your hair is longer, I'd suggest just blowdrying with your head upside down. Any way you blow dry opposite of the way your hair grows will add volume.

Try to use a wax or clay product in your hair [apply in sheer amounts] and just style as needed with your fingers.

my hair used to be thin. i tested several shampoos and conditioners, and i found that the ones that gave good results were flex and pantene pro-v. i recommend flex more because my hair smells better and makes it less brittle. always use hair spray as well. i mean the spray that uses conditioning effects. they always works with dry or wet hair.

Blow dry your hair in sections. At the back of your crown, use your round brush like a roller, away from your head. focus on your crown to make your hair fuller. Too many women try to make their whole head of hair look fuller, overdoing their hair. The results will be just the opposite. finish by Cris-crossing your hair over the part instead of a traditional straight part.
