Your hair looks overall healthy but the ends do look a little thin which is one sign of split ends. Your brush is fine ~ I think all you need is a small trim (not even 1/4 of an inch) just someone to nip the ends so you have a cleaner line across the bottom. Just find someone you trust not to cut too much off.

Split ends can't be reversed, the only thing to really get rid of them is to get a trim every couple of months. You can buy products that may help prevent them, like a leave in conditioner. Make sure to apply it to the ends of your hair and don't massage it into your scalp that will just make your head really oily.

I know a bunch of people are going to tell you products to use, but the fact of the matter is, if you do have split ends, NOTHING has the ability to repair them. The only thing you can do is trim the split ends off. If you don't trim them, the split ends will continue to travel up the strand of hair until your entire head is damaged. You have to trim them off in order to keep your hair healthy.

It's very hard to tell from your video if you have split ends, but if it's been longer than 3 months since you've had a trim, you probably have a few, and you should visit your stylist. She can trim them off for you, and suggest products to keep you from getting more split ends in the future.

Also, the brush you are using is fine, but you should never use a brush on your hair when wet. Use a wide tooth comb on wet or damp hair, and use a brush only when the hair is dry. Using a brush on wet hair causes breakage.

it is always best to go have a trim at a salon that helps with split ends and ask them to put a treatment on it. you can buy treatments from the shops to but not as good as they are from a salon.
