To start with, what does it mean 'wet'? I would imagine, not fresh-out-of-the-shower-wet, but is it okay to brush your hair having towel dried it? I've also heard that brushing your hair when wet isn't so bad when you uses a brush with wide spaces between each spike, is this true?

Using a brush will cause curls to separate causing a big ball of frizz on your head.
