How to make my hair loook....?

How can I make my hair not look so standy? I strighten my hair when I want it to be stright. But not long after, it looks strandy, Like it snarly, Yeah I get my hair cut every 6 weeks, an yeah I brush my hair. But it just dosent look right. I take my time when Im strighten my hair I dont rush it, I just want to pretty much now what products I can use that wont make my hair standy, make it look more full an soft?

How to make my hair loook....?

i use one of two shampoo + conditioners:

matrix vavoom bust out body

or

sebastien double pump (or something like that the bottle's black and pink)

conditioner....little trick...just learned it myself and it makes ALL the difference!

if you use it, don't apply it like shampoo. focus it on the ends of your hair, the ends that are the most damaged, get it? if your hair is colored, put a little on the top, like just the extra before you rinse your hands. the more you put on the top by the roots, the more it's gonna weigh your hair down.

when my hair is wet, i use the matrix vavoom "take me higher"...it's a root lifter, on the crown of my head.

then all over, i put just enough to get to my roots, i put a good quality volumizing mousse. me personally, i use kenra mousse. i can't remember the exact name.

blow it dry all the way upside down...it should have WAY more body now, and then heat up the straightener.

i will not use a flat iron on my hair if it's not chi quality or better. it's expensive because it really does work the best in my opinion. and i've had mine for going on 4 years now. they never malfunction unless you break the ceramic irons or something.

so don't squeeze the top of your hair too hard with the straightener, unless your hair is still curly/wavy/really frizzy at this point. if it is, you can get some (ha i still love this stuff) you can get some biosilk silk therapy and use a few drops on each layer of your hair. oh yeah...i do my hair in 3-4 sections.

part it like you're gonna clip half of your hair up in a clippie, but do it in thirds or fourths. that'll make the heat get to more hair.

this takes a little practice, but you gotta squeeze the straightener tighter as you get to the ends of your hair, and let your hair cool before you touch it. it's like a curling iron. you let the curls set and cool before you start messin with 'em.

as for after that, i stole this tip from a friend who does hair. i use bigsexyhair spray 'n play i think it's called cause it allows my hair to move but still holds the shape (i have lots of long layers).

anyways, spray it all over, even make sure you spray directly on the back of your head, then kind of hold the top of your hair how you want it to look and spray it from the front and top on there. you can finger comb it and shape it after you've created the basic style.

then, the trick...PUT HAIRSPRAY IN YOUR HANDS AND APPLY IT THAT WAY TO SPOT FINISH IT!!!!

sry i know that was long, but i'm a pro at doing hair, my own especially cause i have naturally straight silky blond hair and it's so healthy that it won't do what i want it to sometimes, so i've had to practice a LOT

i'm gonna make a video and put it on youtube. i'll post on here when i do it. prolly wont be till tomorrow nite or next week tho.

GOOD LUCK LET ME KNOW HOW IT TURNS OUT!!!
