Staticy hair help?

Whenever I brush my hair it becomes really frizzy after I have straightned it. And I put water on it, but it dosen't help very much. And hairspray looks so fake. (Also when I use hairspray I have OCD, Obessive Compulsive Disorder so I usually put so much on my hair looks like straw.) What else could I do that wouldn't make it sticky or anything?

I somewhat have the same problem.]But I do use hairspray, just not large quantities.I also happen to have OCD and tend to trip out about my hair. It would help if you got a different hair straightener.I just recently got a new one that kills frizz for the most part. But definately do NOT put water in it, that will only make it worse. Also I heard something about fabric softener sheets from my friend in beauty school, I don't really know about that haven't tried it.

take a fabric softener sheet and just run it threw your hair.

it really works I've done it before and I study cosmetology

so i know all the little tricks! (:

OMG, I have the same problem, except minus the OCD. What I do is I spray Static Guard (Available at most grocery stores or convenient stores.) on my brush and then comb my hair with it. I also spray my hair with it, even though you probably aren't supposed to do that. This usually works for me. Or if I wash and then blow dry my hair. And I know that some other people already said this, but if you run a dryer sheet through your hair it works really well. I also get static after taking off a winter hat, so I put a dryer sheet in my hat. I hope this helps!

This is gonna sound weird...but run a dryer sheet across your hair. It will take away the static and make your hair smell good. ALOT of girls in my high school do that...they keep them in their purse all the time.

when I've finished my hair, I put hand lotion on, and just run my fingers through my hair (before hairspray). Also, if you are wearing tights at all this winter, do the same - run your hands down your legs - no static cling for dress/skirt.
